Terms and conditions
Please read terms and conditions for community dance and therapeutic dance classes and workshops. Please note for dance movement psychotherapy a separate contract will be given to individuals.
Community Dance Classes & Workshops
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all participants ("you") attending community dance classes and workshops ("Classes/Workshops") organized by Katy Dunne . By registering for and/or attending our Classes/Workshops, you agree to these Terms.
1. Registration and Payment
All participants must register in advance unless otherwise stated at least a week prior to the class starting.
Booking is termly only. We do not offer a drop-in rate or pay-as-you-go option.
Payment for the full term must be made before or at the first Class/Workshop of the term.
Fees are non-refundable unless the Class/Workshop is cancelled by Katy Dunne.
In exceptional circumstances where money is a barrier to attending, bursary places may be offered at the sole discretion of Katy Dunne.
Places are limited and confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Health and Safety
By attending, you confirm that you are physically able to participate in dance activities and that you will take responsibility for your own health and safety.
Please inform us of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or special requirements prior to the Class/Workshop.
Comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water is recommended.
Participants are responsible for there own health and safety and please check with your own GP should you have any health concerns about attending a class or workshop.
3. Code of Conduct
Respectful behaviour toward the facilitator and fellow participants is expected at all times.
Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the Class/Workshop without refund.
Breathe Norwich has a WhatsApp group but it is managed by the participants and not the responsibility of Katy Dunne.
4. Liability
Participation is at your own risk.
We are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings unless caused by our negligence.
We recommend you have appropriate personal insurance if desired.
5. Media and Photography
We may take photos or videos during Classes/Workshops for promotional purposes.
Photo permission will be gained beforehand and you do not have to agree to it.
6. Cancellations and Changes
If we cancel or reschedule a Class/Workshop, you will be offered a refund or the option to transfer to another session.
We are not responsible for travel or other costs incurred due to cancellations.
If you cannot attend a Class/Workshop you have booked we can not offer a refund. Transfers offered at our discretion.
7. Personal Belongings
Please keep valuables with you. We cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen items.
8. Data Protection
Any personal information provided will be used only for the purposes of class administration and communication in line with data protection laws.
We will not share your details with third parties without your consent.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for and attending our Classes/Workshops, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions
